Bereavement Plaques are a way to bring comfort for those who are going through a time of sorrow. Whether the sorrow is right now, or in the past, these plaques bring remembrance and comfort to them for their lost loved one.
Next to each picture, is a description of the saying on that particular plaque. Many of the plaques include a place for a photo of a loved one.
You may need one for a gift, or maybe, you need one for yourself. Either way, these are a lifelong keepsake that will be cherished by the one who holds it.
You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he'd want, smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

A Child of Mine
A Child of Mine. 'I'll lend you for a little time, a child of mine,' Christ said. For you to love the while she lives, and mourn for when she's dead. It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three, but will you, 'til I call her back, take care of her for me? She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and should her stay be brief, you'll have her lovely memories of solace in your grief. I cannot promise she will stay--since all from earth return, but there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn. I looked the wide world over, in search of teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd life's lane, I have selected you. Now will you give her all your love, not think the labor vain--nor hate Me when I come to you and take her home again. I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done." For all the many joys she'll bring, the risk of grief we'll run. We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may, and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay. But should the angels call for her, much sooner than we planned, we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. (Choose from Boy or Girl)

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Miss Me But Let Me Go. When I come to the end of the road, and the sun as set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, remember the love that we once shared. Miss me but let me go. For this a journey we all must take, and each must go alone. It's all a part of the Master's plan, a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know. Bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me but let me go.

A Thousand Winds
A Thousand Winds. Do not stand at my grave and weep, for I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousands winds that blow, I am a diamond's glint on snow. I am sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in cicle flight, I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

The Promise of Heaven
The Promise of Heaven. For those who know Christ as Lord, death holds no final sting, though sadness overwhelms our hearts, our souls can rejoice and sing. For we have the promise of Heaven, we will see Him face to face. We, the partakers of His love divine, we, the redeemed by grace. Our tears may flow, but still we know, some day we will all meet again. With Christ as our saviour, together we'll be in glory where love has no end.
